Boosting photovoltaic energy production by over 40% per m².
Double Layer technology
The core of our technology is to maximize the usage of sunlight per m² of exposed surface area. It is based on the patent pending “Double Layer” photovoltaic system concept, in which: a special single-axis solar tracker, made of bifacial photovoltaic strings, implements a new solar tracking logic. It forms the top layer of the system and has the primary task of intercepting incident sunlight to partially convert it into electricity; at the same time, it controls the percentage of incident sunlight to be allowed to pass through, depending on the specific applications and requirements. One or more bifacial, rotating or even fixed photovoltaic strings are installed exactly below the top layer. The task of the bottom layer is to finalize the overall utilization of the incident sunlight reaching it from the top layer, for example, to maximize electricity production or for natural lighting management in greenhouses.
